Was it the serpent below,
lust,
or product, product of your greed?
What I ask then, drove you to slay another,
slay your brother?
The earth cries,
though not of thirst does it cry!
The ground lay saturated, as lay he,
your brother, your brother, how now he bleeds!
He is dead, dead, in death lies he,
and living you stand soiled, your hand, your hand.
A plague I call, a plague upon your sons,
and from their hands a curse laid upon the soil!
The earth will be your home now, your unforgiving adultered,
and fear forever it will know of you, a monster alone you shall be!
Flee! Flee now from my sight!
My eyes can behold no such abomination as thee, take flight!
Wander the earth forever more, my son never more,
your kin found now alone, alone in blight!
