The Worn Gate (2012)
The broken gate that stands before,
taken a time or two or more,
a path home of that I'm sure,
And yet still I stand unsure.
What might stand beyond that door,
I dare not venture to that shore.
This broken passage has allure,
this gate here now its condition poor.
Where there beyond lie days of yore,
Where there beyond lie tales of lore.

Love on Cloud Nine (2012)
A crimson sun down shines on
mushroom peaked clouds;
the earth shakes below
and somehow,
my thoughts turn to love.
On my back the sky above,
my heart beats rock and roll,
Creedance opens for the red dye cloud,
and somehow,
I think of something called love.
Oh dear butterfly wildfire,
red locks bareback the horse called war,
passion burns firetipped in your eyes
and somehow,
I'm not afraid to die.

Juliet on Charing (2012)
Her hair is a whirlwind of butterflies,
a dance of flame against porcelain moonflesh
accenting each step in eighths across the canvas that is my mind.
Her voice is a siren's song on
the bitter mantra whispered among the branches
of life's many forests.
Her graceful moonflesh is a perfection
steel has never known before now,
has never known before now and
never will know again.
She is Juliet unknowing,
my unrequited obsession dear,
a torment more seductively addicting
than the dahlia image black on my mind.
And she is Juliet in dreams,
my Annabel Lee unbreathing;
Her lips' cold kiss beckon
harsher than any banshee could call.
She is my dearest Dahlia, my love
come home eternally now to me,
and subtle memory of Chelsea's
grin she gave me then,
Just east of the Charing Cross.
And now in memory looking back,
back on my dear Juliet,
I miss that smile, that perfect
empty gaze she gave,
and wonder if ever again I'll live to see
Juliet smiling, smiling back at me.

Hyper-Realism in the Fading Light (2012)
As I stand privy in the whisperings of the night air
breathing in the life that is the cool breeze
I am both hyper-aware and dual-present in both
internal and external existences of my mind.
Gazing upon the paradoxically still leaves in the
wind, plastic in their near photo-realism in the
half-light I bear witness to the concert of water
coming down in broken waves from the perpetual fountain.
What is it then, I ask myself and to the air around me
what is it that brings me here night after night,
time and again when surely all others sleep soundly?
In physical exhaustion I stand unwavering, increasingly
aware of the ever-turnings of the world beneath my feet.
And what of the stars above that my eyes strain now against
the parallel rows of illuminescant lamps, straining to make
out their imagined and duely named shapes, what of those
guiding lights that even now in the waking hours of the morning
I cannot see in the darkness? And you, dear darkness,
my friend and ally these many restless nights, what is it that
you would speak of to me, were I able to hear your too-oft
silent thoughts? Would you tell me the secrets of the world
of the travesties great and many you have seen? Or would
you dear darkness leave me, leave me alone as many have
left me alone before.

So Much More (2012)
There's something about her eyes so sad
those eyes that gazed upon Neverland before,
Something just beyond that cold and that steel,
a soft voice calling out for something more.
There's something there she can't quite feel,
a fire burning just beyond the wall of her heart,
and she wonders if now she's seen all to be had,
put it all behind her now she doesn't want any more.
And there's something about her eyes so sad,
those eyes misted over one time too many now,
Something that calls out to my heart and mind,
Try to speak now and I can't bring forth a sound.
There's something more to life I'd say to her,
A reason for everything you've been through and seen,
You've yet to hold all that is there to be had,
Close your eyes I promise there's so much more.

The Writer By The Fire (2012)
The night before eternity screams silent cry
when death dreams old dreams new,
and time ticks the melting candle;
the writer by the fire.
Shadow beings dance the walls
playing romances on endless shelves of blank pages,
and silently cries the child behind cold eyes
as shakes the hands that buried Never Neverland.
Silent night screams the storm outside,
a wind the chill of death sings,
and evermore melts time away,
the writer by the fire.
The night before Neverland burned death down
to the sound of child's laughter in the rain,
There he stood though not at all;
Her hair her hair blew in the wind.
A breath he breathes as none at all,
the old man young still lived;
Neither Alice nor Wendy stood he to face,
Unyielding her eyes what did she see?
A child's laughter rings in the rain,
what was it that he felt,
when she reached out to touch
the heart behind the wall?
The night before eternity screams silent cry
as the past whispers melodies in his ear,
a page breaks free from thousands more,
and casts from its perch.
A moments breath he breathes though as none at all
a flash of writing that catches his eye,
and though as a trick of the light,
the blank page turns to ash in the fire.
A tear that could be lost as any before it
gone as quickly as it came,
the wonder before came a memory forgotten;
the levy lay broken as the flood comes forth.
Neverland was perfect in fall summer spring and all
twists of Wonderland did course through its veins,
and though she was perfect the sign sure of heaven
never could he imagine true she was so much more.
Her hand found its way past his wall endlessly
ten thousand years and more,
and with her voice she made music come forth,
the writer's hands painting words on the page.
A child's laughter rings in the rain,
what was it that she saw
as she gazed into his eyes,
beyond into his soul?
A moment's catch the frozen breath in his throat,
pour fire forth from the floodgates of heaven,
Ice grasps fingers clutch at his heart,
a thrust inward he forces them away.
Winter reigns rains against the stone wall outside,
as once upon the midnight dreary chimes the clock,
tick tock tick tock tick tock he breathes,
gears too rusted to turn the hands forth.
The night before eternity calls silently forth to him,
And alone in the room no longer is he,
a force calls shriller than all the muses before;
and from silence a memory pushes forward.
There she is in garb of black,
though today is not a day to mourn
her voice worked through to his soul
as in her hand his she took.
A carnival of sorts a carnival of souls,
a magic show most odd to see,
and the likes of such he had never held
and the gates of heaven did open.
Upon sunset surely did the day end
and parting he knew to come,
but as the sun set on oceans blue,
she found once more his hands in hers.
Silence broken by a voice outside,
a presence come to destroy that which brought joy;
a presence he knew he knew too well,
a being he had birthed of his own hatred.
Inward bend the walls twisting to its sway
as madness twists at the shadows,
surely it says memories these are nothing other
than the fancies of the writer by the fire!
With its voice pages fly open as books fall to the floor
blank pages catching the light of the fire
and though by a trick of light words glance the pages,
and color returns slowly to his eyes as he sees...
The forest first then the shore of the endless sea,
the rolling tide washed away their footprints,
and eternally it rolled in but pulled back,
unable to give sway to they that lay.
Her hand lay gripped in his as she gazed to his soul
where deep inside him she had found herself,
and equally so he found within her
both peace and a home.
Her hand on his cheek his hand in her hair,
she promises a night without pain,
as she stood with him without end,
never did he need to fear.
The storm now held sway to all around him
a once soft voice echoed its scream through his soul,
books evermore come crashing to the floor,
the first crack runs the length of the stone wall.
In flashes of darkness a smile an eye glancing inward at him,
a monstrous being to devour that which he holds,
come forth it whispers sweetly come to me
beyond your stone walls waits painful death.
A book comes down another follows suit
and blinding light flows forth,
his writing stares from the page back at him,
and her voice whispers softly in his ear.
He stands in Neverland garbed in dress of war
the day it stood in fires he birthed,
the dark whispers poison in his ear sweetly
as he burns the walls of paradise down.
A painful memory both past and present begin to merge,
he sees the lie he was forced to believe and begins to shake,
hatred burns forth as fire lights in his eyes
a voice familiar sings love in his ear he sees.
The first moment the first glance he remembers it all,
remembers her name and calls it out,
at first there is nothing but silence with him
then warmth crosses his shoulders and envelops his heart.
Neverland fades away nothing more than a memory now to him
but this time he does not forget he cannot forget;
new blood flows forth through old limbs as he fights to move,
heart pounding as heaven pours forth once more from his eyes.
A crack once now gives way to a crumbling wall as night pours in,
as light battles the advancing darkness outward gazes the writer,
despair greets him as he stares endlessly into the abyss,
and hope comes forth as a voice sings from inward out.
Na na na na, na na na na sings the child inside,
an energy that feeds the fire and awakens the writer at last,
he clutches the table as he struggles to stand,
in a rush of life he grasps it and throws it into the fire.
Naked he stands as Neverland comes once last to his eyes,
once last he beholds the paradise he destroyed,
and this time he does not stand alone,
delicate arms holding tight from behind.
He needs not look to know it is her nor he speak for her to hear,
as once more for her he lets down his guard,
he feels the warmth and knows it for the smile she wears,
his eyes close as he knows what must come.
Her warmth upon his flesh he feels at first
then the touch of that which he swore never more to wear,
piece by piece she has garbed him in the armor that she made,
and laces in his hand hers the sword that he must now use.
With open eyes he stares now into the darkness knowing it stares back,
that beast which he gave birth to and nurtured with his own blood,
against the storm he can hear it breathing can feel its lust,
the beast as death come to take that last which he holds dear.
The flame to his side begins to die out
now becoming fuel for the growing darkness,
he closes his eyes and whispers forth the darkness to hear,
"I am the ghost of Neverland."
The darkness envelops him entirely as he charges forward,
no longer the writer by the fire now a ghost living,
for a moment there is a sound of thunder that rings forth,
then silence sings forward as the rain dies away.
In ash lay Neverland and now in ruin the fortress he had built
the storm that existed moments before now a memory in the endless dark,
memories could not exist of the writer beside the fire
nor of that love he had held so dear.
Silence sings forth a funeral dirge though the world cannot know for who,
a battle against inner demons that had been fought to loss,
the darkness stagnates and the sound ceases,
and suddenly peace violenty is broken.
From the deepest death of darkness a light burns forth and a song is born,
words begin once more to dance upon worn pages brought forth from fire,
a sword dances violently out from the last tendrils of cold darkness
as he steps forward holding in his hand that hand that once held his.

Blue Rose Dreams (2012)
Crimson eyes on clear glass,
The blue velvet that shines through,
My rose, ever may I view you
through tear filled gaze,
ever more, ever more I...
The words just won't come,
open mouth, abyss, I'm at a loss,
a pain worse than death,
the poet's tears on a blank page,
and bleeding heart in a steel cage,
I'm lost, can't catch my breath,
Love stricken, at what cost,
The poet's words still don't come.
Past the glass, the rain's falling,
somewhere beyond, your eyes shine through,
My rose, ever may I view you
through tear filled gaze,
ever more, ever more I long,
eternity in a moment, a glance,
a kiss...
a dream...
I'm waking, no, now I'm dying,
I'm dying, I'm awake,
I'm awake...
and I'm dead again.

Forever And A Day (2012)
I believe that I loved you
forever and a day,
forever and a moment
a day that never came
In my mind I found you
a dancer on the string
forever and a day
the day that never came.

Belle in the Imaginaerum (2012)
Beauty bathing in blood of the beast,
bathing Bathory my ever beautiful Belle,
your taste, temptation teasing on my tongue.
They (2012)
Can you hear they,
those that speak riddles,
deaths in words unheard
by spirit livings,
can you hear they,
they that speak truths?
Can you hear they,
those that sing sadness,
joys in grays unseen
by spirit livings,
can you hear they,
they that sing life?
Can you hear they,
those that carry you home,
a path laid clearly
for the blind livings,
can you hear they,
they that beat the heart?
And can you hear they,
those that whisper love,
life in new worlds
for the spirit livings,
and can you hear they,
they that speak silence.
A Painted Blue Rose (2012)
Starshine, painting signals over the air,
my velvet love, you dance blue on the cosmos.
Heavens weep, the angelic whisper
echoes the wind, the voice I strive to remember.
Rose unwilting in velvet blue,
a dancer swaying upon my soul,
longing I speak, hoping merely for your glance,
awaiting your favor, your smile.
Starcrossed, ever more the fates jest,
taunting, they dance their fingers above.
Raining sadness, bittersweet emotions,
love comes so easily when those eyes look my way.
Rose unwilting in velvet blue,
you sway evermore upon my soul,
tears of joy, basking in your glance,
the touch of your lips, the warmth of your smile.

Velvet Blue Rose (2012)
Somewhere on another line
under another star
you're waiting there,
my rose in velvet blue,
and though my time
is much better spent,
I just can't stop thinking of you,
because every time
I close my eyes,
I find a darkness
but I still see,
I'm reaching out,
I'm holding on
to a glimmer of hope,
a light through the shadow.
Somewhere on another line,
a page turned by candlelight
finds you dancing there
eyes gazing perfect blue,
You speak words to my ears,
and I can't sleep
without the thought of you,
you're everything,
ten million miles far,
a moments breath away in dreams.
Somewhere on another line
a mirror gaze
glanced inward,
Hazel eyes turned blue,
and moments gone
here to there,
a still heart beats
at the thought of you,
I close my eyes,
but still I see,
ten million miles away
under the same stars,
this same rose
in velvet blue.

A Faded Melody (2012)
The keys lay broken,
dull sounds sing forth
memories that I once played.
Hardly notes,
the voices come forth from the page,
a siren's voice,
now merely an echo across the crimson
ripples of time.
My fair maiden,
in perfection you did step,
a haunting dirge your dance.
A dream begat reality,
a courtship ever perfect;
the fading melody that I drew in blood from
frayed strings.

Linger (2012)
In the candle I see your light,
a flame, a flicker to keep me warm.
And though your presence here lingers,
time can't fade the chill, the ice
of your fingers caresses these
eternal scars.
Your voice whispers on the wind,
a tongue shrill echoes on the air,
calling to me over the silence,
if only to let me know you
are there.
And though your hand
rests on my shoulder, all the
time in the world couldn't bring
you back to me,
the morning dew brings the sun,
and its light grows ever colder.
This mirror is all that stands between,
broken shards of glass keeping you from
me, I reach and I touch, stains of red
on tears my only gift to you.
The snow came too early for us to see,
your winter meeting my spring.
On my knees I watched you leave,
face down in your chest the tears burned,
I hurt, and I couldn't feel a thing.
Darkness settles in, and
in the candle I see your light.
A flame, flickering to bring me warmth,
as cold brings in the night.

I've Come Home (2012)
At Heaven's gate for what seems the twelth time,
and Lord knows I don't belong,
I'm a son come home far too soon.
Silent faces line the walls before me,
and the screams from hells fires are on my back;
Father can you hear me, another soldier home.
Mother hasn't heard I'm sure,
though I never told her before;
I can hear the organ playing now.
I'm a young man still, Father, yet already,
already I've come to talk to you again;
some people are lucky to find you in that hell,
I must be special, here to see you again,
and though I don't hear a sound, it's been the
sweetest music I've ever heard.
Father can you hear me, it's another son home from war,
I guess, this time I'm here to stay.
The fire showers are behind me, but I don't feel them,
and it's the best cold I've ever felt.
I can't turn back, though I don't suppose I would,
for some reason I think of home;
some reason, I don't feel alone anymore.
Someone tell my mom I'm sorry,
that project will just have to be,
the time has come,
I guess I've gotta knock a little harder.

Harlequin (2012)
Do you speak love my harlequin dream;
A song spoke muse of silence so fair?
Dare your lips move, my madness doth seem,
Heartborn subversion, machinations aware?
Orchid embrace ensnared I lie,
Not as death does in strange aeons alone.
Love lay birthed when death doth die,
Willing the sin in love atoned.

Fhtagn (2012)
The restless whisperer sleeps
Dreaming dreams of dreams of dreams,
The call, a call, my friends, dear words,
Has come at last it seems!
And in the darkest dark it creeps,
Haunting silence screams,
And on the wind the wings of birds,
The call in dark it teems.
They bring me home my silent friend,
The resting place, my mind,
Where the dark it comes, it calls, it breathes,
With nothing else to find!
And in my mind my life to spend,
Thoughts are most unkind,
They twist, they turn, they burn, they seethe,
In dark my thoughts enshrined.
Dreaming dreams of dreams of dreams,
The call, a call, my friends, dear words,
Has come at last it seems!
And in the darkest dark it creeps,
Haunting silence screams,
And on the wind the wings of birds,
The call in dark it teems.
They bring me home my silent friend,
The resting place, my mind,
Where the dark it comes, it calls, it breathes,
With nothing else to find!
And in my mind my life to spend,
Thoughts are most unkind,
They twist, they turn, they burn, they seethe,
In dark my thoughts enshrined.

My Angel Evermore (2012)
Somewhere on the side of everwhere
she lies, the angel of heaven's
emptiness come home to earth below.
She walks as faith, as he, she weeps;
my angel heavensent cries to eternity,
the ghost of neverwhere omnipresent.
Wings of gold, on black, on snow, she's
the winter queen, the muse, the fey,
pirouette, bow, swing, the strings they
tremble under her step, a melody haunting.
My eyes closed, I see you, my angel;
a moment ago you were but a memory,
now the dream, evermore evermore you
lay with me, nevermore, only but a memory,
never more to lay with me, never more
to come home to me.
she lies, the angel of heaven's
emptiness come home to earth below.
She walks as faith, as he, she weeps;
my angel heavensent cries to eternity,
the ghost of neverwhere omnipresent.
Wings of gold, on black, on snow, she's
the winter queen, the muse, the fey,
pirouette, bow, swing, the strings they
tremble under her step, a melody haunting.
My eyes closed, I see you, my angel;
a moment ago you were but a memory,
now the dream, evermore evermore you
lay with me, nevermore, only but a memory,
never more to lay with me, never more
to come home to me.

Ten Thousand (2012)
Ten thousand steps, a roar like
gunfire, children march by and
by, rolling thunder, rolling
thunder.
Facing faceless, a visage so
pure, the faceless face home, the
innocent path unwalked, unwanted,
unseen.
Ten thousand steps, a roar like
gunfire, children march by and
by, rolling thunder, rolling
thunder.
The faces we lost in the fire,
our sins piled high in ashes, pure
is want, purity lost, the
faceless come here, the faceless
come home.
Ten thousand steps, a roar like
gunfire, children march by and
by, rolling thunder, rolling thunder.

Butterfly Wildfire (2012)
I see her walk by from my perch,
a shadow on the wall unseen.
Her locks burn of passion's color,
A wind-blown flame free of its wick.
Something about her bears...
something words can't say,
but we all feel and I know,
we are all afraid to die,
to leave nothing behind.
She dances there,
somewhere on the edge of time,
a subtle ripple on the fabric,
a butterfly echoing outward.
A slight glance backward,
a moment, can she see?
a shadow on the wall unseen,
her eyes open wide she looks on through.
Butterfly,
wildfire,
flutter away,
I see your smile,
but deep down you cry.
Butterfly,
wildfire,
fading away,
Vanishing smile now ring around,
we all fall,
we all die.
a shadow on the wall unseen.
Her locks burn of passion's color,
A wind-blown flame free of its wick.
Something about her bears...
something words can't say,
but we all feel and I know,
we are all afraid to die,
to leave nothing behind.
She dances there,
somewhere on the edge of time,

A slight glance backward,

Butterfly,

Butterfly,

fading away,
Vanishing smile now ring around,
we all fall,
we all die.

Malynn (2012)
Alone she cries, the shards lay shattered;
Pieces of society's eyes littered on the ground.
Behind closed eyes she sees their gaze,
Their whispers pierce into her mind; poison.
Malynn, oh Malynn why can't you hear me,
I'm calling out to you,
Malynn, oh Malynn, I'm reaching,
Reaching for you.
She's the summer rain, simple, beautiful;
A smile and I'm melting.
She's beautiful, a smile and I'm crying,
She's perfection, love.
Malynn, oh Malynn why can't you hear me,
I'm calling out to you,
Malynn oh Malynn, I'm reaching,
Reaching for you.
Eve, she's crying in her garden;
The snake plays on her screen, her pages, her dreams.
She hears its whisper, tastes its poison,
She's crying for Adam.
Malynn, oh Malynn why can't you hear me,
I'm calling out to you,
Malynn oh Malynn, I'm reaching,
Reaching for you.
Malynn, oh Malynn, why can't you see me,
I'm here standing with you,
Malynn oh Malynn, I'm here,
I'm here, I love you.
Pieces of society's eyes littered on the ground.
Behind closed eyes she sees their gaze,
Their whispers pierce into her mind; poison.
Malynn, oh Malynn why can't you hear me,
I'm calling out to you,
Malynn, oh Malynn, I'm reaching,
Reaching for you.
She's the summer rain, simple, beautiful;
A smile and I'm melting.
She's beautiful, a smile and I'm crying,
She's perfection, love.
Malynn, oh Malynn why can't you hear me,
I'm calling out to you,
Malynn oh Malynn, I'm reaching,
Reaching for you.

Malynn oh Malynn, I'm reaching,
Reaching for you.
Malynn, oh Malynn, why can't you see me,
I'm here standing with you,
Malynn oh Malynn, I'm here,
I'm here, I love you.

The Mirror (2012)
Somewhere on the other side of a mirror,
there's a world like this one
in black and gold,
where every tear cried here,
there a flower grows.
The night comes as day,
and an ocean black is
rained on by stars of gold,
here, you've been gone so long,
there you never faded away.
Somewhere on the otherside of a mirror,
there's a world like this one
in black and gold,
where the days that passed me by
play new to old.
Outside it's raining here,
there, new life is born
raised on heaven's tears,
here, I close my eyes again,
there you live evermore.
there's a world like this one
in black and gold,
where every tear cried here,
there a flower grows.
The night comes as day,
and an ocean black is
rained on by stars of gold,
here, you've been gone so long,
there you never faded away.
Somewhere on the otherside of a mirror,
there's a world like this one
in black and gold,
where the days that passed me by
play new to old.
Outside it's raining here,
there, new life is born
raised on heaven's tears,
here, I close my eyes again,
there you live evermore.

Curtain Call (2012)
My fingers trace the curtain
Velvet, shades of red,
love, shades of dread...
I've been here before,
a time or two it seems,
The lights, the music,
the crowd... a dream return...
My friends have returned,
some thought lost,
most long gone,
again we stand... here we stand.
We breathe, sideways glance,
we see and we know,
Velvet rises...
My tear falls...
Silence...
The final curtain call.
Velvet, shades of red,
love, shades of dread...
I've been here before,
a time or two it seems,
The lights, the music,
the crowd... a dream return...
My friends have returned,
some thought lost,
most long gone,
again we stand... here we stand.
We breathe, sideways glance,
we see and we know,
Velvet rises...
My tear falls...
Silence...
The final curtain call.

Mentality (2012)
Darkness, twisted shadows in the
eye of the world, light and dark
can't tell anymore, where does
one end and the other begin,
Seeded malice, sensational thoughts
in my head, my blood burns cold
I see red, the world ends
and it's all in my head.
I shouldn't like this but I do,
words on the page, read the lines
between, subliminal messages in my
thoughts, abomination, expectation,
I live it for you.
eye of the world, light and dark
can't tell anymore, where does
one end and the other begin,
Seeded malice, sensational thoughts
in my head, my blood burns cold
I see red, the world ends
and it's all in my head.
I shouldn't like this but I do,
words on the page, read the lines
between, subliminal messages in my
thoughts, abomination, expectation,
I live it for you.

The Dry Eyes of Sinners (2012)
Moonrise, the sun falls on sands turned to ice,
Hell burned starfire dimming damnation;
freedom to the damned, condmemned--
the wasteland stands brilliantly painted
in black and red.
Their dry eyes flow blood rivers
to beauty known forgotten;
Saints among sinners they stand bound
in cracking chains,
their anchor to a sun scorched home,
their Hell burned to darkness.
Hell burned starfire dimming damnation;
freedom to the damned, condmemned--
the wasteland stands brilliantly painted
in black and red.
Their dry eyes flow blood rivers
to beauty known forgotten;
Saints among sinners they stand bound
in cracking chains,
their anchor to a sun scorched home,
their Hell burned to darkness.

The Shadow in the Dark (2012)
Twisted subversion,
an inverse extraversion,
your singularity shines
black among gold.
A grain of sand
falls, falls, turns,
and crawls, an inverse image
to my corneas.
As such I saw your world
through an hourglass, my
private window looking in,
The gravity of your conscious
subconscious ineffectively affecting
the unaffected.
And your eyes catch mine,
unknowingly, inescapable variable,
and you see and you don't,
my friend my friend, dear love
my friend, I am a shadow, the shadow,
a shadow you see not.
Anon, again,
My friend my friend, dear love,
my friend, I am naught but all, of all,
I am naught.
Finis, finis, I am done, I am faded,
A husk, a shell, no more, no more.
an inverse extraversion,
your singularity shines
black among gold.
A grain of sand
falls, falls, turns,
and crawls, an inverse image
to my corneas.
As such I saw your world
through an hourglass, my
private window looking in,
The gravity of your conscious
subconscious ineffectively affecting
the unaffected.
And your eyes catch mine,
unknowingly, inescapable variable,
and you see and you don't,

my friend, I am a shadow, the shadow,

Anon, again,
My friend my friend, dear love,
my friend, I am naught but all, of all,
I am naught.
Finis, finis, I am done, I am faded,
A husk, a shell, no more, no more.

Sweet Valentine (2012)
Your sweet sweet valentine
dear dear and dead
on my doorstep,
A beautiful gift in crimson red.
Love love, love me now,
love me dearest
love me cold
kiss me dear, I'm dead
I'm dead.
dear dear and dead
on my doorstep,
A beautiful gift in crimson red.
Love love, love me now,
love me dearest
love me cold
kiss me dear, I'm dead
I'm dead.
Never More (2012)
I saw your love through crimson eyes
Your love, your heart,
burned, you died,
Lost a love,
Lost it
You,
Lost inside,
It was all untrue,
Every lie,
It was burned the truth
And now I feel,
Because of you,
And all I see,
is fucked up too,
And every time,
Every tear,
Six feet down,
And I'm way up here.
Goodbye my love,
Goodbye my dear,
You'll never see
Another smile,
Another laugh,
Another tear.
Your love, your heart,
burned, you died,
Lost a love,
Lost it
You,
Lost inside,
It was all untrue,
Every lie,
It was burned the truth
And now I feel,
Because of you,
And all I see,
is fucked up too,
And every time,
Every tear,
Six feet down,
And I'm way up here.
Goodbye my love,
Goodbye my dear,
You'll never see
Another smile,
Another laugh,
Another tear.

Colors of Love (2011)
Cancer burns red on my lips,
a ticket black for my train.
A wisp gray is your kiss,
Midnight fades blue tonight.
Oh love.
Oh love,
Can you remember?
The snow falls
early this year.
Oh love, remember,
Goodbye.
a ticket black for my train.
A wisp gray is your kiss,
Midnight fades blue tonight.
Oh love.
Oh love,
Can you remember?
The snow falls
early this year.
Oh love, remember,
Goodbye.
Wait, Rose, Dear, Dear, Rose. (2011)
In the morning dew your petals wilt,
Plucked by the one you love,
Rose, dear Rose, last one day more,
The fire will take you away.
Plucked by the one you love,
Rose, dear Rose, last one day more,
The fire will take you away.
Human Disease (2011)
A living race dependent on death,
we burn everything we touch.
Ashes in the land;
Black death on the water..
Skeletal trees,
We turned oxygen to venom.
we burn everything we touch.
Ashes in the land;
Black death on the water..
Skeletal trees,
We turned oxygen to venom.
And I Stood There... (2011)
Saw the edge of the world
through my tinted vision.
Thought to myself, "this must be
what the angels see."
Purity hidden by the storm clouds
below;
the grasses grow on the teardrops
of man.
through my tinted vision.
Thought to myself, "this must be
what the angels see."
Purity hidden by the storm clouds
below;
the grasses grow on the teardrops
of man.
A Dream Twisted
Twisted memories haunt my waking dream,
a scream so silent,
vision is grayed.
A touch unfelt the clouds on my soul,
you've taken me away,
you've taken me home.
a scream so silent,
vision is grayed.
A touch unfelt the clouds on my soul,
you've taken me away,
you've taken me home.
Coming Home (2011)
Mother now you see I'm old,
my eyes' turned gray,
my bones gone cold,
and though in life I walked alone,
you were my guide,
you paved my road.
You saw my heart and raised me bold,
showed me strength
and watched me grow,
and now you see I've grown old
my hair's turned gray,
my blood run cold.
my eyes' turned gray,
my bones gone cold,
and though in life I walked alone,
you were my guide,
you paved my road.
You saw my heart and raised me bold,
showed me strength
and watched me grow,
and now you see I've grown old
my hair's turned gray,
my blood run cold.

Lament of...
Father Father, why have you, why?
Forsaken now I lay, now I lay,
He hangs, he hangs, oh Father,
Why forsaken am I to you?
Angels cry father, cry, cry, cry
Angels die father, I cry, I cry,
Forsaken I lay, I lay, he hangs,
Father, dear Father, Why?
Forsaken now I lay, now I lay,
He hangs, he hangs, oh Father,
Why forsaken am I to you?
Angels cry father, cry, cry, cry
Angels die father, I cry, I cry,
Forsaken I lay, I lay, he hangs,
Father, dear Father, Why?

Irony in Dm (2012)
If I wrote a verse to say I'm bored,
hardly bothering to try at all
Still it seems I'd be adored,
"Golly gee, you're on a ball!"
"You write such pure, great works,
Your writing is truly a thrill!"
And while this does have its perks
It really rather makes me ill!
I could rhyme a word with such ease
a phrase or three to make a splash
And if I really aimed to please
I could sell some words make some cash!
So you see to make a hit,
All one need's to write some shit.

Patron Saint (2012)
I never claimed to be a saint
Though the faces still followed
One by one, they fell in line
Waiting for my word,
my gospel.
"I am no saint among you!"
I called,
though none did hear.
And though sinners did abound,
My kind one and all,
They raised me up,
I was a king,
and they begged my doctrine.
"I am no more than you,
and you no less than I."
I spoke of humility,
Of equality among us,
My words fell,
There were only deaf ears,
They saw me as a god.
They cherished my words,
My thoughts became law,
I breathed and they heard,
Sinners one and all.
Though the faces still followed
One by one, they fell in line
Waiting for my word,
my gospel.
"I am no saint among you!"
I called,
though none did hear.
And though sinners did abound,
My kind one and all,
They raised me up,
I was a king,
and they begged my doctrine.
"I am no more than you,

I breathed and they heard,
Sinners one and all.
Mirror Mirror (2012)
Who am I, who am I,
Dear mirror can you tell,
I said today I'd be myself,
Well,
who I am, dear mirror, I've never felt.
Dear mirror, dear mask,
Dear friend on the wall,
Who am I today, who am I at all?
Who am I tomorrow, a fly on the wall,
A shadow behind,
Am I anyone at all?
Dear mirror, dear friend,
Dear mask that I call,
Tomorrow, tomorrow,
I was never here at all.
Dear mirror can you tell,
I said today I'd be myself,
Well,
who I am, dear mirror, I've never felt.
Dear mirror, dear mask,
Dear friend on the wall,
Who am I today, who am I at all?
Who am I tomorrow, a fly on the wall,
A shadow behind,
Am I anyone at all?
Dear mirror, dear friend,
Dear mask that I call,
Tomorrow, tomorrow,
I was never here at all.
A World of Children (2012)
Pariah, twisted deception in her eyes
Faded, guilted by her new religion,
Ostracized, she wishes silence of him.
Twisted misdirection her epiphany
Opium for the masses, cells for the questioning
Taken, taken, beaten and broken.
She takes the right and births a gift,
To her dolls, dear faithful, what was unalienable,
To him, problem child, to the corner.
It's all part of the game, play and play,
Her empty smiles and vague promises,
Turn them all against one another.
Faded, guilted by her new religion,
Ostracized, she wishes silence of him.
Twisted misdirection her epiphany
Opium for the masses, cells for the questioning
Taken, taken, beaten and broken.
She takes the right and births a gift,

Unforgivable Kiss (2012)
Absolution my vanishing vanity,
twisting chains that bind, fallen
unbound by the binding ties
unbound, vermillion burns crimson,
a kiss, a kiss.
And nothing is so absolute, the sin that lay
Nothing so pure in imperfection.
Nothing so pure, so pure, so perfect.
Finis.
Blood lay broken,
lay open,
lay still,
Ramification immaculate my
Restitution paid in flesh,
thy debt paid in full.
twisting chains that bind, fallen
unbound by the binding ties
unbound, vermillion burns crimson,
a kiss, a kiss.
And nothing is so absolute, the sin that lay
Nothing so pure in imperfection.
Nothing so pure, so pure, so perfect.
Finis.
Blood lay broken,
lay open,
lay still,
Ramification immaculate my
Restitution paid in flesh,
thy debt paid in full.

Summer Rain (2012)
No more tears in this rain,
like heaven's crying, these tears
are happiness falling from my eyes.
There's nothing quite like it,
this pain in my chest has
never felt so good.
She's something else entirely,
words just can't describe
everything I want to say.
She's like the summer rain
falling slowly from the sky,
not a cloud in sight.
Heaven's crying above and
I've never felt so good,
She's like summer rain.
The floodgates to heaven open
and for a moment I see God
I'm drowning in this love,
Heaven above me pouring down.
I'm an old man young again,
Time has passed me by and
I'm trembling in this downpour,
but I've never been so warm.
She's like the summer rain
falling slowly from the sky,
not a cloud in sight.
Heaven's crying above and
I've never felt so good,
She's like summer rain.
No more tears in this rain,
Heaven's crying above and my tears
are happiness, falling from my eyes.
There's nothing quite like it,
this pain in my chest has never
felt this good.
Words just can't describe
everything that I want to say,
I've never hurt so much.
I've never felt this kind of pain
but these tears are happiness
falling from my eyes.
You're the summer rain falling slowly
from my eyes...
